Tasks
In particular, the tasks of the Centre include:
- conducting development work in cooperation with official statistics units, primarily within the Office's area of specialisation, regarding:
- the use of new technologies and data sources that improve statistical data production processes,
the implementation of modern methods and tools for processing and analysing structured and unstructured data sources; - designing and programming IT systems for the purposes of preparing statistical reports within the Office's area of specialisation;
- conducting design and programming work for the internal needs of the Office;
participating in the preparation of statistical data for publication purposes and fulfilling data requests; - designing and maintaining specific databases within the Office's area of specialisation;
- populating the databases and data warehouses of the Statistics Poland with data;
- processing statistical datasets acquired from various sources, including their integration;
- cooperating with domestic and foreign entities within the scope of the Centre's tasks.
