Rules for Dissemination of Information
- Official statistics ensure equal, simultaneous, and equivalent access to statistical data for everyone.
- Individual and personal data collected and gathered in official statistical surveys are subject to special protection. They are covered by statistical confidentiality, which means they cannot be shared or published. They are used exclusively for statistical studies, compilations, and analyses, as well as for creating a statistical survey frame by official statistics services.
- Aggregated data may also not be published or shared if it is possible to identify a specific person or business entity. In the case of individual data, this means that information characterising the economic performance of business entities cannot be shared if a given aggregation consists of fewer than 3 entities or if the share of one entity in a specific compilation is greater than 3/4 of the total.
Orders for unpublished data and information from official registers are processed on a paid basis. The cost calculation for data provision is based on the currently applicable "Price list for services provided by official statistics services".
Scope and Form of Dissemination of Information
- The scope and form of disseminated statistical information are determined by the Program of Statistical Surveys of Official Statistics, which is approved annually by the Council of Ministers.
- All other aggregations of statistical data – apart from those listed in the Program – may be carried out, subject to statistical confidentiality, on request and for a fee.
Information is made available in the form of:
