The Centre consists of the following units:

• Regional Surveys and Information Dissemination Division,
• Analyses and Aggregate Studies Division.

The tasks of the Regional Surveys and Information Dissemination Division include, in particular:

1. conducting surveys and analyses relevant to the specific characteristics of the region, and participating in surveys and analyses carried out by other statistical units,
2. cooperating with local representatives of governmental administration bodies, as well as other institutions and organizations responsible for developing and implementing regional policies in the voivodship,
3. disseminating data and information obtained from statistical surveys, delivering current information services to the public, national economy entities and researchers, as well as operating the Statistical Information Centre,
4. preparing analytical reports and current information on the socio-economic situation of the voivodship, as well as flash releases on particularly important phenomena in the region;
5. providing information services to the press, radio, and television, as well as organising press conferences and seminars on the region’s situation, challenges and problems occurring the region,
6. promoting and popularising official statistics, publications, studies, and statistical information;
   managing the Office's social media profile on Facebook and X platform;
7. providing and conducting external statistical education;
8. providing and conducting staff trainings;
9. ensuring the accessibility of the Office for disabled persons and with other special needs;
10. implementing ESG practices;
11. serving as a representative of the Office at job fairs and during external public events.

The tasks of the Analyses and Aggregate Studies Division include, in particular:

1. preparing specified, thematic studies and publications concerning the voivodship;
2. ensuring the substantive and methodological accuracy of publications. Objective presentation of socio-economic phenomena, including ensuring consistency of the prepared analyses and studies across regional breakdowns;
3. production and provision of nationwide publications and analytical reports on the: maritime economy, technology, innovation and the information socjety as well as transport and real estate statistics;
4. compilation of analyses and publications  addressing the needs of local government administration bodies (including publications and booklets/leaflets);
5. determining users' demand for publications, analyses, and statistical information, as well as the methods of satisfying it;
6. maintaining the website of the Office;
